This dessert is in my blog since I decided to write my own blog 'cause when I decided to write it, I was finishing my degree as English teacher and I wanted to mix these two passsions the English and the kitchen. But for different reasons I started to write it in Spanish because the most of my family and friends are Spanish (and some other reasons).
However, as a little tribute for my former idea about what my blog was going to be I have decided to write this entry in English, and I have chosen this recipe because is one of my favorites desserts, it is in the blog ideas since the first day and It is typical in the anglo-saxon culture.
So, HERE WE GO!
Ingredients: (2 people)
For the base:
- 15 biscuits (Maria type)
- 3 spoons of milks (more or less)
- Non-salty butter.
For the cream:
- 150 grames of light philadelphia cheese.
- 4 Spoons of sugar. (or more if you have sweet tooth).
- 50 ml of cream.
- 70 grames of white chocolate.
- A large egg.
- Vanilla pure stract.
For the top:
- Marmalade (inthis case strawbery marmalade)
-Agar agar.
optional: more sugar.
How to prepare it:
For the base:
1- You have to mix all the ingredients in the mixer.
As you can see it is not needed break the biscuits (because of the milk).
2- Put the paste in the baking pan and bake it 6 minutes (200 º C).3-Take it out from the oven and let it getting cold.
For the cream:
1- Put in the mixer all the ingredients.
3- Bake it 35 minutes (160 º C). Once you think is already done, test it by piercing it with a stewer, if the stewer is clean our cake is ready.
1- Put a little of marmalade on a pan and heat it, when it boils put a spoon of agar agar and mix them strongly.
If you don't have agar agar you can just heat the marmalade with six spoons of water, and put it carefully on the cakes. When It gets cold it would be solid enough (with agar agar is more solid, like jelly-O).
2- Put the mixture over the cake and put it on the fridge one hour.
ResponderEliminarBesos.
